Hi all!! I just want to hear your insigts about having your visa delivered to your province.

So, I had my interview at the Manila Embassy, 15th of August 2013, due to several holidays and flood occurence I am expecting to have my passport delivered late. So, here's my timeline:

August 15- Ready

August 16-22 AP (no 221g)

August 23- READY (wait for two business days)

August 26- AP again

August 27- ISSUED

August 29- US TRAVEL DOCS says my passport is out for delivery

I checked with 2go and my passport number not my MNL case number is still invalid. I am from the province in Mindanao, planning to leave on the 11th of Sept, didnt book a ticket yet, but do you think I will receive it before then?

Please share your experiences. Thank you all.

Use the UID number it seems to work better; UID number off the embassy confirmation letter (online confirmation page by bar code)

I am betting by the time you read this that 2GO will be texting or knocking at your door. ;) When tracking shows out for delivery your visa is usually only a day away, two at the most.

If it's OUT FOR DELIVERY I would be surprised if you didn't have it before the end of the month. ;)

Maayung Buntag... Which province in Mindanao are you from? My wife is from Compostela Valley and when they sent the visa to Davao. They had my wife actually come pick it up at a town about an 1 hour away. Because they rarely go to her town. So you should get a phone call from them to confirm where you live.

2Go rarely update their system or never update them? I already collected my Visa still the status says INVALID. USTRAVELDOCS is reliable when the visa is out for delivery. It should be delivered to you by Fri or if they have delivery on Sat. Received an update from USTRAVELDOCS noon time and by 4:41pm I received a text from 2GO because I chose to pick it up at MoA.

What does the CEAC website show for status?

Did you try the UID number for 2GO? It varies with what will work with 2GO, if you can even track your visa on their site at all.

Haven't had any luck with ustraveldocs, until tonight when it read something (I forget) that gave me hope--then an hour later it went to "Out for Delivery!" During that time 2GO (which never worked either) until an hour or so ago went from: In-transit to Shipment accepted by customer to In-Transit again. I'm finally beginning to believe that my fiancee will have her visa soon!

She was approved at her interview on Aug;27, and this has been a longer than normal wait-time, don't you think?

I pray my honeyko will get the packet tonight or tomorrow so I can take advantage of United's decent rates lately. I also wish I could have booked their free flights last Thursday! Oh, well. I can wish, right?
