Hi all,

My husband's green card was approved around the same time he and I moved apartments. We filed a change of address with USCIS but the card was already sent out. The case status acknowledges the address change but has put his GC back into Initial Review?! Is this normal? Why would they do this, rather than send the card to our new address? Tracking number for the GC indicates it has been returned to Lees Summit, MO where it originated.

Any info is appreciated.

Hey guys, I had the exact same thing happen to me. My green card was approved at the same time I was moving. I too updated the change of address and they acknowledged it. Basically what happened was they return it as undeliverable to Lees Summit... what will happen now is they will send it out again to the new address that you have provided. try not to stress to much... I was really worried, expect the greencard in hand within a week or so :) good luck!
