Hey all,

My husband and I just got married and I am filling out the AOS form. I noticed on several portions of the form it asks about military service... My husband served in his country's military as required by law for a year. What should I writer on part 3c?

* March 13, 2012- HE PROPOSED!

* October 25, 2013- MARRIED!

* January 8, 2014- AOS APPROVED!

Filed: Citizen (apr) Country: Mexico
Timeline

If he served in the military for a year as a requirement of citizenship of his country, then you list it there. It states to include any military service there.

Just tell the truth and say yes, and attach a sheet of explanation, like it says. Just do what it says.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
