Anyone who got NOA2 on or around 13 Aug,2013 & waiting for case number from NVC? Let us update each other. Thank u!

Well - our case was approved at CSC at 8/08/2013. After few days I wrote to NVCInquiry@state.gov but they told me that they have not received the case but they advised me to send the copy of approval notice to NVCResearch@state.gov 15 days after the approval. Now I got the response from NVCResearch@state.gov telling me that wait for four to eight weeks after the approval from USCIS. Good luck !!!!!!

NVC still has not received our case. Feeling sad!

Same here, our I-130 got approved on August 15th.

I called USCIS 10 days ago, the Tier 2 operator wrote a service request for our petition. At the time, the Tier 2 operator told me that USCIS has not sent the petition yet and that it may take two weeks before any movement.

Today, I received a letter from USCIS California service center about my above inquiry and the service request. The letter does not say much about when USCIS would sent the application except that USCIS expects to forward our petition to NVC in an expeditious fashion.

As of today, NVC has not received our petition yet. I will call USCIS and NVC again this Friday.

If you have not contacted USCIS, you might want to do so, make sure that you talk to Tier 2 operator. At the very least, you want to check with USCIS if they still have your petition.

Based on some updates from other thread, a couple of people's petitions just arrived at NVC recently. Hopefully, ours will arrive at NVC sometime this week.

This is what I got from NVC after I sent inquiry email to NVC. Btw our approval day is August 13.

Thank you for your inquiry. The National Visa Center has not received your petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Please scan and email your I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action to nvcresearch@state.gov. Type the receipt number in the subject line of your email. We will contact USCIS on your behalf to find your petition.

If your I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action does not indicate USCIS approved your petition and sent it to the Department of State, please contact USCIS for a status update.

How do you contact tier 2 support? What number did you call? Last time I called, it's very hard to get a live operator.
