Does anybody know approximately how long does it take for DS forms to be available filled out and paid?

July 11, 2013 - NOA 1

September 12, 2013 - Transfer to Nebraska

September 20, 2013 - Case touched

November 14, 2013 - NOA 2

Case shipped to DOS - November 19, 2013

NVC Stage

December 11, 2013 - NVC received my case

December 30, 2013 - NVC case number issued

January 2, 2013 - NVC issued invoice number

January 13, 2013 - DS261 filled out

January 15, 2013 - AOS invoice received and paid

January 17, 2013 - AOS package sent

January 21, 2014 - Fed ex delivered package (NVC confirmed receipt on 22nd)

January 21, 2014 - IV fee invoice received and paid

January 22, 2014 - IV documents sent (payment in process but cleared from bank)

January 23, 2014 - submitted DS260 form, iv documents delivered per fedex (24th per NVC)

February 12, 2014 - received fake checklist for IV package

February 21, 2014 - Case completed (by phone)

April 2, 2014 - Called and got interview date May 13, 2014

May 13, 2014 - Counsel needed some time to to review docs

May 27, 2014 - Interview round two and visa approved

June 2, 2014 - Visa pick up date

My NOA2 is July 30 & my case has been dispatched from the service center on 15th of August. Haven't heard anything from NVC. I have written a mail & also tried to call 2-3 times but no luck

We got the case number by mail today (issued on Dec 16) but it didn't contain an IIN.

Should we call them to find out? Does having the IIN help us to the next step?

Congratulations.

We got the case number by mail today (issued on Dec 16) but it didn't contain an IIN.

Should we call them to find out? Does having the IIN help us to the next step?

in the payment portal you need case number and invoice ID number. I received case number, invoice number and beneficiary ID number over the phone, not sure if invoice ID is separate number. I will call on Monday to find out.

My mom's case was approved on Dec 6, shippped to NVC on Dec 9. I called NVC today yesterday aand they said they received the case on January 6... to call back again in a week so that the case is on the system.

my PD was june 12 2013 and got approved from NVC on nov 7th. it tuk me precisely 2 months from the date of approval to finish my ds 261 and 2 fee worth 88$ and 230. so i m just waiting for ds 260 2 b activated and send the original documents.gud luck

Im calling NVC twice a day. Still no case #. Last update was they received my case on dec 17.

Does anyone here going to submit their aos/ i864 this january? Is it ok to submit itr 2012? Or should we wait for the 2013 itr?

Btw, VB is out still no movement for f2a on feb 2014

Our case was transfered to NVC last dec 19 and we're still waiting for the case number.

If it was transferred on Dec 19th maybe you'll have to wait a couple of more weeks before you receive your case number. Keep calling the NVC to check if they have received. After they receive it it may take approximately two to three weeks to get a case number. some people get it faster though.

I received an email from NVC last jan 10 to wait for 6-8weeks. Does it realy take that long?

My case took almost the entire 8 weeks to get the case number. My petition was approved on Nov 20th and NVC received it on Dec 18th. I just got the case number today.
