Thanks naga 4 ur help. i appreciate it. so since it was arrived on dec 3-4th at nvc i shud b getting my case number arnd dec 20th 4 sure. and wat do u reckon abt medical and interview any idea after nvc completion. how much time it takes for nvc process if u give them everything on time. thanks in avance

If everything goes well without any check-list your case should be completed at NVC under 2 months and then interview.

I called NVC now and the lady said they just received my file and entering in to the system. Ask me to call them in 20 days.

How long will it take to get receipt no & IIN after entering the file to the system?

Feb 22, 2013: NOA1 Received

Sep 04, 2013: RFE received

Oct 04, 2013: RFE response

Dec 05, 2013: NOA2 Approved

Jan 10, 2014: NVC Case # and IIN assigned

Jan 17, 2014: Email to pay AOS & IV fee

My friend called NVC twice today the first lady whom she talked to said to wait for 8wks. After few minutes she called again and

The guy on the phone was very helpful and said that her case was received on dec 16 and call again after a week to get her case#. I hope everyone in NVC will improve the quality of their work especially the call center agents, they just dont know how important this process for us :( as for my case still no update

No case number yet from NVC calling them everyday 2 times. case got approved on nov 7th 2013. PD june 12th 2013. almost 42 days since case has been approeved. any guess how much more time it will take NVC recieved case on dec 5th but still not been put in system.

Thanks Shahenaz its so frustrating some times u call them and they say wait for 10-20 business days hope 2 get next week thanks again

I called NVC today and there was a recording saying immigrant application status is not available at this time. Do know why? Today is not US holiday.

i think you should, I didn't receive e-mail but on the website when i checked status it said my case was approved and four days later it changed to case being shipped to DOS.

Yes they just scanned in my case and issued case number but no INN yet so i can't proceed further yet

July 11, 2013 - NOA 1

September 12, 2013 - Transfer to Nebraska

September 20, 2013 - Case touched

November 14, 2013 - NOA 2

Case shipped to DOS - November 19, 2013

NVC Stage

December 11, 2013 - NVC received my case

December 30, 2013 - NVC case number issued

January 2, 2013 - NVC issued invoice number

January 13, 2013 - DS261 filled out

January 15, 2013 - AOS invoice received and paid

January 17, 2013 - AOS package sent

January 21, 2014 - Fed ex delivered package (NVC confirmed receipt on 22nd)

January 21, 2014 - IV fee invoice received and paid

January 22, 2014 - IV documents sent (payment in process but cleared from bank)
