Hi Guys my case has final arrived at NVC after been approved on Nov. 7th. PD is June 12th 2013 for f2a category.I called NVC and they told me 2 wait for 10-20business days as they received my petition on dec 3rd. so wat do u reckon when can i receive my case number. Please advice me i m going 2 my home country for 5 weeks from january to feb. can i do all the formalities from there. please advice me. i will really appreciate it. as i only 2-3 weeks r left for me as i have already booked my ticket. i will really appreciate it

You may receive your case number in a week as per current process. As far as you have all documents handy you can do process from your home as well. but make sure you call NVC and give your email in their system so you can get notification.

Dec 2, 13: Recived case number
Dec 3, 13: Paid AOS fees

NVC told me to wait 20 work days after receiving case. My case reached on nov 21 @ NVC,unfortunately no case number yet...cray5ol.gif

September 12, 2013 - Transfer to Nebraska

September 20, 2013 - Case touched

November 14, 2013 - NOA 2

Case shipped to DOS - November 19, 2013

NVC Stage

December 11, 2013 - NVC received my case

December 30, 2013 - NVC case number issued

January 2, 2013 - NVC issued invoice number

January 13, 2013 - DS261 filled out

January 15, 2013 - AOS invoice received and paid

January 17, 2013 - AOS package sent

January 21, 2014 - Fed ex delivered package (NVC confirmed receipt on 22nd)

January 21, 2014 - IV fee invoice received and paid

January 22, 2014 - IV documents sent (payment in process but cleared from bank)

January 23, 2014 - submitted DS260 form, iv documents delivered per fedex (24th per NVC)

February 12, 2014 - received fake checklist for IV package

February 21, 2014 - Case completed (by phone)

April 2, 2014 - Called and got interview date May 13, 2014

May 13, 2014 - Counsel needed some time to to review docs

May 27, 2014 - Interview round two and visa approved

June 2, 2014 - Visa pick up date

Hi all,

did anybody's case, which got approved after nov 14 reached NVC. Mine was approved on November 14 and sent to NVC on November 19, when i call NVC they don't have my case yet ClockWatch2.gif

i got NOA2 on Oct 25

NVC received case -Nov 21

got case number-Dec 10..

Thanks naga 4 ur help. i appreciate it. so since it was arrived on dec 3-4th at nvc i shud b getting my case number arnd dec 20th 4 sure. and wat do u reckon abt medical and interview any idea after nvc completion. how much time it takes for nvc process if u give them everything on time. thanks in avance

I received NOA2 yesterday and it says file sent to NVC. Will I receive another email when they actually send the file to NVC?

Hi casper212... I got an email saying that the case was approved on Dec 6 and another email saying that it was send to NVC on Dec 9.

2/22/13 - Sent photos as per checklist and they were delivered 2/26/13.
2/27/13 - Received email saying that they had all necessary documentation.
3/6/13 - Received email scheduling interview for 4/12/13.

4/12/13 - Passed Interview. 5/20/13 - Entered USA.

7/4/13 - Submitted I-130 package.

12/6/13 - I-130 Approved. 12/9/13 - I-130 shipped to NVC.

i think you should, I didn't receive e-mail but on the website when i checked status it said my case was approved and four days later it changed to case being shipped to DOS.

just wait a couple of days it will be at NVC, and after that to wait for a couple of week to have a case number

If everything goes well without any check-list your case should be completed at NVC under 2 months and then interview.
