Hello everyone, I am new on this portal.. Kindly help and suggest me..

I want to know how much time it will take to get over this RFE and get the visa from NVC.

Last week I got RFE for my F2A cate.

SUGGEST N GUIDE PLZ.

CSC has been approving cases very fast. I'd say within the next 2 weeks you should hear from them.

Its another 2-4 months at the NVC stage after your 130 petition is approved.

Also some civil documents are required at the NVC stage. Start collecting the necessary documents for AOS and IV so that you don't have to wait.

Also read the FAQs and familiarize yourself with the procedures.

sukhi4498: I called NVC one time and they told me to wait 30 days and didn't bother to call them after that and i got the Case Number in an email. Just wait for a week and see how it goes..

  • You will also need to include the bar coded cover sheet that is available when you pay AOS/IV fee. Just make sure that you can track the mail so you know its in NVC hand safe and sound . ( I sent it USPS Priority Mail with tracking)
  • Original copy ( even if it is in your native language) PLUS a translated attested/certified copy in English.
  • Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate and Police Clearance Certificate ( if required at the NVC stage )are required and need to be original. Check your embassy specific site for additional documents
  • Yes

My parents in USA over 5 years they put my F2B visa in 2010 January, i think.

I gout my case number which start with RNG 2011, I would like to know how many years do i have to wait.

In UCIS website visa bulletin table only march 2006 for F2B visa. So it means i have to wait 5 years more.

I am in Myanmar (Burma) south east asia country.

pls can someone answer?

Question for I-864:

There is a part 2 - "Information on the Principal Immigrant" and in this section all information we have to fill regarding beneficiary and they asked Alien Registration Number - so what we have to mention there? As there is no Alien number assigned until they get Green Card.. Am i right?

So do we have to keep that Alien field empty or what to write there?

One more question regarding I -864:

In I-864, there is a Part 6 : "Sponsor's Income and Employment" - in this section 5th point says "My current individual annual income" -> so what amount do we have to mention here? Adjusted Gross Income from IRS or annual income?

And if it is Adjusted Gross income then this information would be same as which we mention below in 13.a.1 ( Last year's Tax year and it's income) ?

Hi All,

How long does it take to see the IV Fee Link once we submit the AOS Documents ??

I have paid the AOS Fee and submitted AOS Documents and when ever i log on to ceac.state.gov i don't see any thing under "IV Application Processing Fees "

Not sure whether there is any wait period for paying IV Application Fees.

Another thing i noticed is whether i login as Petitioner or principal Applicant i see the same info. Is it normal ??

it takes any where from 10 - 40 days.

Have they told you that your file has been received?

Check others vj timeline that's similar to yours and see if they got theirs.

All I can say is keep calling.

Hmm.... I my respond to RFE was received on Oct 09th (as per the USCIS site, but they received 2 days prior to that).

Still waiting on the approval. Almost 45 days now.
