Waiting for NVC case number

cat21 is only me and you behind hh this folks got approved after us and they already started pay visa fee . im joking congratulation everybody we are next cat21 right sooooon.keep up with updates

ideree and pdnov and some filers that was approved same week/month as ours from NSC are still waiting like us, plus i think most of filers here who had receive there case# and invoice# are mostly from california service center ... i hope that they will give us (from NSC/VSC) our case#next week..

i just called again nvc today one women told me i will get the instruction about my case a month from now whaaaaaaaaat ? a month i chocked after i just update my case from permanent to citizen im very disappointed i thought the process will speed up

.. look at the bright side.. this way you will not need to depend on f2a vb's retrogression in coming months, unlike us... i hopeee .... do not worry at least we are done at uscis stage without getting RFEs ..patience patience patience my dear... you are not alone in this journey .... its been a month since my case was shipped but im still waiting for my case number too

Any one has idea which date retrogression might be?

Congratulations .... mine was shipped 27 sept... maybe i have my case number without knowing it ... lol will ask my husband!

That's true! In my case, i've waited for almost 2 months before i got my case number. So don't lose hope. God is so good. He knows when is the perfect time and He has plans for each and everyone of us!

Just keep calling and calling nvc. Make inquiries thru their email add and ask them about your case numbers. Goodluck! Just be patient. You'll have yours soon!

got my case number and IIN 11/1/2013 but still cant pay fee yet, i will check by Monday inchalah

Finally!!

After waiting for more than 10 weeks (NOA2 August 15th), our case arrived in NVC.

We are still waiting for the case number.

Just want to share our experience to help others that are in similar situation as ours.

After being told to wait for 8 weeks (during that time, I called NVC and USCIS at least once a week), I decided to contact my US representative for their help, USCIS and NVC.

After a couple of mail exchanges with the representative office, on October 25th, my congressman contacted USCIS.

Within a couple of days, USCIS found and overnight our case to NVC and informed my congressman. A day later, I received a letter from my congressman with the update.

The bottom line, if your case stuck in USCIS for eight weeks or longer, immediately contact your US representative for help.

It probably helps that my congressman happens to be the chairman of the Homeland Security committee in Congress! I wish I could hear what he told USCIS about our case, .

Lastly, we are grateful of the expeditious manner in which my congressman and the people at his office handled our case.

Hopefully, our journey at NVC will go smoother than USCIS.

After you get NOA2 on 15th August just wanted to check did you get any notification regarding your case got shipped from USCISafter NOA2. And if still they shipped your case and it got stuck with USCIS?

In my case they shipped my case very next day to NOA2(15th Oct) but still NVC do not have case.

You must first complete and submit the ds-261 choice of agent before the payment becomes available.
