i think apple is right ... 5 years is waiting time for f2a BEFORE... now shorten already to 2-2.5 years ... but there are some cases that took only 1.5 -2 years... it all depends on visa bulletin... since visa for f2a is limited unlike those wives of us citizen... nwei, we all wishing and praying for same thing... to shorten our waiting time...

case completed via phonecall: 17 april 2014

first of all 4-5 years is not the waiting time for f2a visa if it goes smooth, max 2 years is the waiting time before it got current in aug 2013, now its waiting time further reduce to 1-1.5 years

good luck for all.

I said it USED to be around 5-6 years in the 80s, 90's until around 2009 (historically speaking).

As of 2010 until early this year 2013, BEFORE it became "current", its 2.5-3 years.

NOW? It would depend on the movement of the upcoming visa bulletin. Maybe it will be fast (I HOPE SO), maybe it won't.

Nothing is definite YET, so don't make major decisions until you have your visa on-hand.
