NOA1 is a reciept of notice and NOA2 is acceptance of notice.

Once you submit your petition to the USCIS Service Center, you will receive a Receipt Notice, commonly referred to on the internet as NOA1. The time it takes to receive the NOA1 varies.

The NOA1 Receipt Number is the number you can then use to track your case. You can check the status in the given link USCIS Case Status Online

On completition of the adjudication of the petition, you will then receive an Approval Notice, commonly referred to on the internet as NOA2.

but now the status of f2a visa is current since aug 2013, it means that he waiting time for the aproval of i130 got reduce.

It will not be current forever. Retrogression will happen come Oct 2013 visa bulletin. Priority date movement changes every VB so nothing is definite.

Why would I kid about it? Did you think it was and will be current all the time? The length of waiting time DEPENDS on the movement of the visa bulletin. Check the VB archives so you'll have an idea.

Its one process after another, from USCIS to NVC to your Embassy and some are put in long AP. Dealing with this is not a walk in the park so do your research and prepare ahead, okay?

I agree with you, Asharuet. It won't take as long as it used to. One year sounds about right. ~~~~
