Got the NOA2 for my wife's I-129F on Monday, November 27. Called the NVC last Friday and nothing. Called the NVC on Monday and nothing. Called the NVC just a few minutes ago today (Wednesday) and was told that they had assigned a case number AND had already sent the petition to the embassy in Bogota! Hats off to the CSC for getting the packet sent to the NVC so quickly and to the NVC for such a quick turn-around.

What is your NOA 2 date? I did not see it on your timeline. My NOA 2 was e-mailed on November 27.

NVC, IMO, is covering its ### with normal processing times. K-3s, from what I have been told, move much more quickly. They don't stay at the NVC very long. Mine was there for about a day after they assigned the case number.

Keep the faith. I called last Friday - nothing. I called on Monday - nothing. I skipped Tuesday. I called on Wednesday and got the case number AND was told that the petition had been sent to Bogota that day.

KEEP CALLING!!! You're only 5 days behind me on your NOA2 and our docs are on their way to the consulate...They were at NVC for less than 24 hours. It shouldn't be too much longer for you.

Wow! I noticed Mike & Adriana and OskaryAndrea's timelines in Riblets signature and thought I was reading something wrong.

Congratulations to you both for your approvals and for getting such an amazingly quick turnaround.

My fiancee and I will be getting married by a notaria in Neiva, Huila in April. She is currently in law school and won't be done with classes until December, so we will be having our religious ceremony in January or February of next year. Consequently, it is not critical for us to get a fast turnaround, but it would be great if she got approved quickly and come to visit a few times.

I will be sure to check out the short cuts you mentioned.
