Preparing for K-1 Interview

Hi there

I am new here and I just got a packet and an interview schedule (which by the way took 4 months for US embassy in Manila to schedule- thank God it came). I have most of the documents that they were asking my question is the police certificate they are asking - if you have lived in another country for more than 6 months I should get one. I was an international student in the US for 4 years so does that mean I should get a police certifice in the US or not? I went to the website that they instructed us to see the list of the countries that we could cerificates but USA is not listed. Does this mean I don't need to get a certificate anymore?

And one more thing do you guys have tips for me for the interview? I have 2 kids with my fiancee do you think it would help if I bring them to the interview with me? My fiance's lawyer said I should bring them or at least one of them. The age of my girls are two and half and my youngest is a month old. Yes when we applied my visa I was 3 months pregnant. Does this help?

Police certificates are not required from the USA.

Regarding your children. The visit to the consulate for your interview can be very tedious and long. It may not be the best place to take such young children. They will very possibly get bored and agitated. I don't think that they would sway the interviewing officer anyway.
