Hello,

I am a citizen and i have filed I-130 for my husband,

The complete package was sent June 24 - I received the notice and msc number along with my mail receipt - but this was over two months ago, can someone tell me the average time that it takes for your I-130 to be approved or for you to get a response???? It was sent to the Phoenix lockbox, and i currently live in Houston, if there is anyone that can share/advise on times i would really appreciate it.

Thank you.

Is your husband in the US already or you just petition for him to be able to come????

If he is in Mexico, for the decision of USCIS is about 8-10 months, and then after NVC send the papers to Juarez embassy he will have to set an interview appointment...

If is an adjustment of status with him already here, i cant help you because i know there is a lot of visas you can adjust from... and different timelines.

I love you Charles forever!!

are you chasing a visa or hunting a green card?

is husband in USA with you, not to leave till green card in hand, or something else?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hi Everyone, and thank you for your responses,

he is in the US, and entered with a Visitor visa, i am trying to get his Adjustment of Status (resident card) not sure if this is a visa or what its called.

some people i talk to say, it doesn't take that long, but waiting for a response on a I130 for me seems quite a bit of time, but thats why i would like to know if anyone has any information, thanks

The I-130 can take 6 plus months. Your application is sitting at the National Benefits Center where they are currently processing them at a very slow rate. We sent my husbands in early May and still no word. There are also Feb/Mar/Apr filers still waiting. So just sit back and relax for now. It's going to take a while.
