Hello All!

I recieved my NOA 2 on July 8, 2013. I still not recieved the instruction packet crying.gif Has anyone had this problem??? How long is your Instruction packet taking??? I am talking about the Packet that contains the DS-3230 and gives you the case number and gives you the instructions on paying the visa fees. My lawyer contacted them and recieved an email on August 12 stating that they were getting the package together. I have tried to call , no answer at the visa center...just rings forever :( does anyone have any ideas, i sent an email to and no response...Just hoping that someone else may know whats going on or having the same issues..thank you....rolleyes.gif

You mean ds-3032? if they received your case on august 12 call NVC i suggest call them everyday smile.png and ask them your NVC case number and IIN once they have your case number they will ask the beneficiary name,DOB,and the petitioner name,DOB and they will get the beneficiary and petitioner email address too. when you get your NVC case numbeer and IIN send your ds-3032 choice of address and agent using VJ template so you can save more time.. while waiting for your AOS to generate the bill and for the IV fee bill they will just generate that when they accepted your ds-3032..

You will not received the ds-3032 untill they have to Generate your case number first.. thats why call NVC everyday and get your case number and IIN and give the beneficiary email and the petitioner email address once they have the email they will send the instructions via email.. ooh by the way you have a lawyer tell to your lawyer he/she suppose to know that... :)

There is some confusion here. You have an lawyer so there is no DS-3032 for you.

You said your lawyer got instructions nothing will come to you it goes to your lawyer. Now they await to pay the AOS fee and IV Bill.

And its taking some anywhere to 8 weeks. I would keep calling NVC for case3 instead of waiting on lawyer to get an email thats a month long delay at least.

***moved to progress reports from process and procedures***

Most people on VJ don't wait for anything to be sent to them. We call the NVC until we get case numbers then send the DS-3032 through the mail. We pay bills online as soon as they're available and send out the packages we've already prepared. Most of us don't have lawyers either though so do all the downloading of paperwork and mailing ourselves.

Also dwheels is correct. With your lawyer there should have been a form filled out that automatically makes your lawyer the agent for your case (eliminating the DS-3032.) Your AOS and IV bills should be available to pay simultaneously when a case number is assigned.

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.  - Dr. Seuss

We also have an attorney.

We have our case number from NVC, We have paid the bill for i-1864 and the IV bill, both cleared. Our Attorney sent in the i-1864 and the DS - 230. They received those forms on 16th August 2013.

My husband ( us citizen) is ringing NVC daily and all they say is they have 20 days to do it in . That takes us up to the 12th of september.

This part seems to be taking sooooo long. I am so fed up of it all now :(

I am just wondering what is next now all this is paid and sent ??

Thanks.

I know it takes for ever! But that is good news that they have 20 days to do all of that in, compared to 6 months on everything else..haha. I am curious to see how long it takes to get the i-864 cleared for me to, and get the counselor processing to start. I am hopeing it is soon, very very soon, I would love to have my husband home around christmas....Good Luck!
