The dream is delayed...

Hopefully a future generation will continue the strides made in the past. Since 1968 we've had a brief peak and then now we're headed to the valley again.

Since the election overt racism has actually increased dramatically. It's like that one election made it all good. Many using the same logic as you posting those pictures.

Actually "The dream" has pretty much been realized. Show me the people of good will and character who are being denied rights or respect by the wide swath of Americans?

The slippage is coming because many see a double standard and are growing weary of it.

I think the disconnect lies in the way we judge "progress", Some focus on opportunity others simply focus on outcome.
