So after months of gathering as much evidence as my poor stressed brain could think of, my husband and I finally filed our I-130 petition today. I thought I would be relieved but it turns out I'm even more stressed out now because I'm afraid I've missed something, forgotten to sign something, wrote something wrong, left something out, etc.

I just wanted to share with y'all what all I used in our package for evidence. It was a pretty big package, because we don't actually have a lot of the hard evidence for proving a bonafide marriage, so we used tons of little stuff.

Copies of statements from PayPal showing money transfers between the pair of us.

Gift receipts dating back nearly 11 months to last week.

Phone records

Emails and Chat logs

All our wedding cards from family and friends

Photos of us on dates before the wedding, and after.

Photos of the wedding ceremony of my hubby, myself, and his family.

Copy of passport stamps

Receipts from hotels

Copies of flights and ticket stubs

Affidavits from third parties

Receipts of wedding bands

and a letter from his parents that I have been staying with them (and my hubby) since May this year (hopefully this shows we are kinda living together?)

Again it's not a lot of hard evidence (at least I don't think) but I wanted to share so that those of y'all who don't have a lot of good evidence (utility bills together, joint taxes, bank accounts together, joint lease etc.)

Hopefully all this was enough. This was just the evidence portion of the package. (:

Rest your head. Your list looks complete and good. 99.9% of us just show that. The joint stuff is more for people who live together and co-minging stuff. They aren't expecting that so don't stress.

I hope you did make 2 copies of what you sent in. One for you one for your spouse. Go over it and rest your mind on what you signed and filled out I am sure its all good.

If you want go over to the NVC filers thread read post #1 and #2 during your waiting time getting knowledgeable on your next stage after USCIS approval.

Be sure to read and re-read post #1 and #2. There may be things you need to do now (taxes last 3 years, etc,)

be prepared now to wait 7 to 9 months or maybe

longer before approval for an I-130 takes a while.

I am a Jan.2013 filer and still no approval notice.
