Timeline

I am reaching 60 yrs and lived overseas all the last decade on money I saved through business. I keep no assets in my name and only use banks to pay the monthly cc. For the K-1 I returned and went back to work for an old partner and good friend as a business manager. I worked most of last year for around $25,000 of a $30,000 income. I will have 3 quarters so far to show for this year out of my $30,000 income. That gives me 1 tax year and 3 quarters all above the requirements.

I am still worried. Worried because of my age, no assets in my name and the fact that my employment history is negative for the last decade. I prefer to live my life under the radar. That can be good and bad. On a different good side, my relationship also spans much of the last decade.

My employer is more than willing to be a co-sponsor but they deduct all expenses plus a few extra and keep the line 22 income down near zero. They are more than happy to put the company house up as an asset. Equity is over $300,000 on a $600,000 valuation. Also have a part time job for $6000 already set up for my intended.

Questions:

Do you think I can get by on my own?

If not then will adding the one asset with a co-sponsor work?
