Hello, I have some questions regarding I-134.

1.Is it a mistake if my fiance put my name as wholly independent in the box for item number 8?

2. in item number 11 my fiance checked the "intend" box and indicated that he intend to furnish room and board as well as all other living expenses. For as long as we are married. Is it also a wrong answer?

3. If all of his answers are wrong then is it ok if I'll erase it using a white correction liquid? Is it ok if the I-134 form have some erasures?

I checked my fiance's completely filled out I-134 last night and compared it to visajourney's sample form and found out there differences of how my fiance have answered the item #8 and item #11. I'm worried that maybe this would cause a little problem on my interview that's why last night I posted and asked in the topic "I-134 Question" but no one answered, so now I created a topic instead and hopefully someone would enlighten me and help me. I would really appreciate it.

Thank you!

Thank you!

1- your name should only be listed for item 3 not in item 8. If he has no other dependents that should be NONE (I don't think the CO will give too much thought to you being listed as dependent... but that is just my personal opinion)

2- It doesn't matter too much for item 11, you can check either or neither. I didn't check either box, then entered K-1 visa in the line below.

3- No!! Not OK for you to alter the document. Leave it as is or request your fiancé complete a new I-134 and send it to you.

Thank you so much Hank! Again, you save me.

Ok, I will just leave it as it is, I will not ask my fiance to send another copy anymore coz he just sent a mail 2 days ago (for the second time this month) it contains the intent to marry that he weren't about to include on his first mail that has Tax, W2 and I-134. It cost almost $45 for urgent delivery, USPS is pricey, so I'm just not going to ask him new I-134 anymore. I hope the CO wont make it a big deal. Thank you again Hank. This is really very stressful. :(

Yup this process tests your patience and ability to handle stress... that is for sure smile.png

Which to be honest, I am not good at. I am really doing all my best. So, I hope after all this, we will get the approval in the end.
