Adjustment of Status (applying for EAD and I-131)

So we are applying for my husband's green card now and we just had a few questions.
On the EAD, what is question 16 about? It says we need to check the "Who may file form I-765" and I'm not sure where that is. My husband came on K1 Visa, btw.

Also, we intend on traveling to his home in South Korea next year in the summer time. Should we fill out the I-131 now? We are unsure on the exact date and it asks when we will be leaving. So I am just unsure on if I should fill this out now or later.

Also, when we submit the I-485, do we have to send in the money along with it? Or do we wait for approval then send the money? Also, does the EAD have any additional costs? And is the total amount for everything $1070, or will we have to pay more along the way?

Thank you so much!

- Abi

finally, we made it!

I-765 Q.16 is C-9.

You can file an I-131 and enter "unknown" for the dates of intended travel.

The filing fee is $1,070 which you must submit together with the application. There is no charge for filing an I-131 and / or an I-765 concurrently with, or subsequent to, an I-485.

Was about to answer but Hypnos beat me to it.

I will just add that the I-131 will only accept the numeral characters for the date and length, so you will need to leave them blank and hand-write Unknown.

One more question everyone!
I'm unsure on the "In care of" portion of the application.
It says "In care of name" and then shows boxes to write an address, etc.
Do we fill out our address? Do I put my name for the "In care of name" portion?

finally, we made it!

'In care of' is if you receive mail through someone else using their address. You would not need to list a name for 'in care of' if that is not the case for you. http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/in+care+of

Or just make something up - an estimate of when you might want to travel. They do not expect you to know exact date, nor will they hold you to any date that you write in. It's there to provide an estimate of when you might want to leave (I guess maybe if it's in a short time, they'll process it faster, but I doubt it).

On our DS-156 for the question that asked write in exact date if known of when you're coming to the US, we left it blank since we didn't have the exact date yet and the guy at the embassy who checked our documents said we should fill it in with some date, even if it's just approximate.
