Make sure there is enough evidence of a relationship and you will probably be ok.

Provide the evidence of having met to support the petition.....have any name hits cleared and a petition will be approved. I have noted very very few here on VJ that have been denied a petition at service center. However there is a list a mile long of appeals from denials on the USCIS website but those mostly are when petitioners have not met in person or met outside the required 2 year period so therefore the petition is denied. The basic requirement of a I-129F fiance petition is that the two have met in person within the 2 year period prior to a petition being submitted. Have all your t's crossed and i's dotted and submit what is required.

At interview level.....have evidence of a bonafide relationship. There are members who have been denied a visa, whereby a petition is sent back to DHS but worrying about whether you are going to be one of them is fruitless. The majority, I would hasten to say, here on VJ do get the visa. We all want to be with the one we love. Making again sure that all our t's are crossed and i's are dotted, that one has plenty of evidence to proove the bonafide relationship, that one is not going to be seen to become a public charge (I-134 amongst other things) goes a long way in being approved for the visa.

Hey Bachha!

If you make enough money - check the poverty guidelines (you need to make more than 125% of it) http://aspe.os.dhhs.gov/poverty/06poverty.shtml; And all your paper work is in order and your proof of meeting her is good - the visa will be granted - I think the rate of success for K1 is very great even for India! You owe Rasgullas to everyone!
