I'm planning on putting my belongings in storage and travelling abroad for approximately 3 months. So I won't have a place in the US anymore while i'm gone. How should i fill out the current address of my AR-11 form? It doesn't seem to let me put an address outside of the US in the form.

Would an acceptable solution be to use my wife's parents address in the US as a home base? That's where we are forwarding our mail while we are gone.

I was finally able to get through to someone via the support contact line at USCIS and here's how it was explained to me.

You only need to fill out the AR11 once you move into your new place. Not as your are leaving your old one.

So if you move out...and travel for 2 months, you only need to fill out the AR11 once you return and move into your new house. and therefore have a new address.
