I don't know if anyone has any insight, but anything would be helpful at this point. My fiancé has been in the US for 2 weeks now. We arrived in Seattle, WA. When we went through customs the gentleman told us the I-94 was automated now and we could print it out online "if we needed it". From the sounds of it, this is one of the most important forms so I am unsure why he treated it so casually. So far, when I enter her information into the website it says "not found". I have tried EVERY variation of her name, DOB, etc. I have tried like 100 different variations. Always it says "not found". I can't find anything helpful/useful online regarding this process. Maybe there is a delay for some reason, but I can't find anything useful. The only thing I read now is that I should go to a Deferred Inspection and ask them to give me one. I have now called the Seattle office twice and both times a very rushed sounding person answered but told me to call back later or tomorrow because they were busy helping more important people (basically). Very frustrated because we can't move forward with getting her SSN which means I am having trouble getting her important things such as health insurance.

Any help/suggestions?

That happened to us. Three weeks after POE and my I-94 was still not found. We had to call the Kansas City Airport (since it is nearer than the Seattle POE). Turns out, the officer from Seattle didn't finish or close my paperwork so it was just incomplete and we were told to go to the Kansas city Aiport to the Customs and Border Patrol with my passport with the visa so they could update it. Double check the data they have entered once they gave you the I-94 because the first one they gave us had a wrong date of entry; they put August 10 instead of August 1. Once we got home we called in again and asked to have it updated and we printed it from home.

If you want to do what we did, We used the Defered Inspection Sites to get the contact number and address to find the nearest airport if you can't go to your original POE.

Edit: Sorry I forgot the link, http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/contacts/deferred_inspection/
