Help needed!

Hi,

After mailing our AOS package yesterday, we noticed on our copy of the I-485 that we typed the wrong expiry date

for the K-3 Visa, we put 2006 instead of 2008! Any advise on what we can do? Will they send the whole package back

and have to resend it?

If they need anything from you they will send you an RFE. I don't know how they will deal with that as far as sending the package back (never heard of that) but just be sure they'll ask you if they see a problem!

Three observations:

- You (should have) included a photocopy of the visa as a supporting document, so they'll know the correct date that the visa expires.

- In any event, the I-485 does not ask when the visa expires - it asks when status expires, which is not the same thing nor is it the same date.

- You (should have) included a photocopy of the I-94 as a supporting document, so they'll know the correct date that status expires.
