Those who voted he should go along with tradition, I'd love to hear your reasoning.

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

Pledging an oath on a book or document that doesn't mean much to you isn't much of an oath. I think a person should be free to select whatever book holds great significance to them so that the oath actually means something lol I don't even understand why this is controversial, actually, since I can't imagine anyone actually wanting an elected official to take a solomn vow of service in a manner that isn't very significant for them.

I was curious about what those who chose the traditional option were thinking too, but I'm not surprised. Prager has many supporters too. Darn! I forgot to listen to his show today!

Yea, that Rep. Goode is stirring up sh!t about it now, calling for limiting immigration so more Muslims won't be elected to Congress. This morning there was some ####### named Rios on Fox this morning supporting him, saying that the Quran tells Muslims to kill all non-Muslims.

Maybe he should read the Qu'ran before he tries quoting it. Not that I'm a scholar, but not one peace loving Musllim I have known has agreed that they are supposed to kill non-muslims. how will they convert us if they kill us? It's just a 'translation' to justify the actions of the radicals. No different than things some Christians say about the Bible to support their radical views.
