There has been enough not all of them get published and l am not saying Vendors do not fraud the system and vendors would be guilty too.

To me they are milking the system.

not true.

to posit that a program like wic is not necessary or beneficial to american fetuses (which i'm sure you care deeply for) and babies but instead a corrupt and fraud laden program is a super weak argument, harsh. super weak.

would you like some numbers?

Coz u said he was milking... which he is not, he is not abusing the system.

Why do you have to be abusing the system in order to get everything you can from it?

Since when did milking become synonymous with abusing?

U can produce numbers here is the fact what happens and this would not be on your report.

This is just one story :

"Last night I was shopping at Target. I went to the customer service counter to get a price adjustment on something I purchased last week. On the counter sat two gallons of milk, two large cartons of OJ, two large bottles of apple juice, and a large bag of grapes. I stated to the clerk that it would never occur to me to return groceries. She said it happens all the time. People buy the groceries with their WIC voucher then walk straight to the customer service desk to return the items for cash. Target then has to throw the items away because perishable items cannot be resold."

I am not agaisnt helping the ppl who really need it but certainly against who abuse the system and in my terms they are milking the system be it a vendor or beneficiary.

Ok... if u believe there is no abuse than there is none.

Why? Must it be a zero-sum game?

Why should he not be able to recover the money he had to spend to defend himself in frivolous lawsuit?

i didn't say there is no abuse. but you weren't interested in numbers, only some bs story you found on the internet. in your mind one woman saying she saw some returned wic items on a target counter is evidence of rampant fraud, but numbers? actual research..no, don't want that.

I meant it in the "cash in on" way. I wasn't trying to imply that he was abusing the system.

He should be able to recover money spent.

What I was commenting on is how eager people are to give this man money to purchase guns, put money in his defense fund, etc ... but when people who genuinely need money from the government to survive, they are moochers and want nothing but hand outs.

You can post random stories from Target customer service desks all you want. Those stories don't tell you anything other than what we already know - some people abuse the system.

But I'm willing to bet there are far more people who use the system for its intended purpose.

Incidents like this would not even make it to the fraud numbers you are talking about.
