After the K1, AOS I always expect the worst when dealing with the US Govt. But the Shanghai consulate was very helpful with my daughters CRBA. I made the application date. 3 days before they emailed me asking for scanned copies of all the documents within 3 business days of the interview.

That was a little annoying, but hey no problem. I scanned all of the information, US marriage License, wifes GC, copy, passport, and my passport and copies of all the forms.

I also took a ton of extra information to the interview, college transcripts, random W-2's from over the past 20 years, pictures, and a lot of other usless information that I was used to having Yuan take to all of the immigration interviews.

We needed none of the exra information. the officer just hadd us look at the copy of the CRBA, swore us in, and we were done. The only problem is I now have to brave the traffic to get into the city to pick up everything in a few weeks.
