My wife just had her interview and was proved. But they didn't ask her to register an address for visa delivery. She was told by the people at the consulate that we should have picked a place before the interview. We are CR-1 and the interview was scheduled for us by the NVC. However nowhere on the interview letter says that we needed to do that. Does anybody here know how to do that? Also does anyone know how to track our visa? Thanks very much.

ya , i know how to do that.

first - make an account at ustraveldocs.com

(this will jump you to https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/applicanthome )

second - fill out the visa delivery page thingie (it's labelled IV Address Registration) - you or her can choose the CITIC bank location that you want. staying in Guangzhou? choose a Guangzhou CITIC bank location. want it delivered in her hometown? See what's available.

third - print out the delivery coverpage

fourth - bring that in to the IV Unit.

I don't know what to tell you about step #4 - she was supposed to bring that sheet in on interview day. Maybe GUZ IV can read the data from cgi stanley? I dunno. If you are in Guangzhou at the moment, you can hand delivery it via ACS appointment or by walking in during the walk-in hours.

1. ceac.state.gov and

2. chase after the document delivery information on ustraveldocs.com

you might get some speed for using the phone, though.

when I read http://ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-iv-documentdelivery.asp

it mentions To register or change your document pick-up location through our call center

so it is possible to call.

since she not arrive with this coversheet, I recommend calling asap.

Thanks for the links. I just registered the pick up location on the website (very confusing steps). I hope I'm in there system now. When I check my passport status it still says There is no status update available for the passport number submitted. I guess it has not been received yet.

Btw I heard that we are suppose to pay a $165 for the visa. Do you know how we do that?

Called CGI. They verified that my delivery location has been registered. CEAC tracking still says Administrative Processing

CEAC status now says Issued

Passport tracking still says There is no status update available for the passport number submitted

Anybody know how long this process will take or any other way to find out where our visa is. We are trying to gauge the time so we can book the flight.

issued is a great status.

However, it's still gonna take a few days to make the visa packet bundle.

After that is done, it's pitched over to CITIC courier.

Once CITIC has it - ustraveldocs website will have more status.

ah. counting !

GUZ IV not work weekends or the USA federal holiday on Monday.

OTOH - CITIC never closes.

Suggest you check again, see if any new status. IF CITIC picked up the visa packet Friday - then it's in transit, and transit doesn't stop on the weekends. Or USA Federal Holidays.
