He seems to believe that the tax exemption for religious organizations is on it's way out. While I'd support that, I say that that is not happening in my lifetime.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew has told Congress that the government will run out of money to pay its bills in mid-October unless lawmakers raise the country's borrowing limit, which is capped at $16.7 trillion.

Obama says he won't negotiate this time around and says Congress should fund the spending it has previously approved.

Seems they did fund the spending they approved genius since the FY 2013 ends Sept 30th and there is no FY 2014 budget.

Call your president and tell him that even though his office writes up a budget he doesn't actually get to approve and pass it all by himself. While you're on the phone let him know that statements like the above really, really make him look like a dumb-a$$ and he should realize he can't manage our country's money for schit
