Make copies of the birth certificate as they don't return originals and it's hard to obtain once in their possession. They tell you not to send in original documents unless asked. Be sure to make a copy of everything you send in as you will need it all for the second phase (the interview). If submitting passport pages you must send in all pages of each passport from front to back, I suggest color copies as it's easier to read. If you have more than 6 pictures, I would send as much as possible, the more the better, you don't want them to question anything. It's better to give more than less as a way of covering your tracks because the most simple thing can cause a standstill in the process and you don't want a RFE.

Form DS-230 is needed in the second phase which is after receiving NOA2. while waiting for an approval, I recommend that you research everything required for the second phase as it will take a lot of stress off of what's ahead. Good Luck!

I don't think you need to send tax returns and support letter at this time unless the process has recently changed.

What is the Form G-1145? I'm filling in the next few weeks & did not fill out this form & I'm not submitting affidavit of support or recent taxes because I thought that information was to be submitted at the interview stage.

G-1145 is the form where u just write ur email n contact number to let the USCIS inform u as they get ur Petition n thats it.

when u file I-129f, at USCIS stage, u dont need to send affidavit of support, recent tax return.

Good Luck..

you're not going to include a cover letter? what about boarding pass and airline ticket? you don't need to include your pay stubs and tax information to the I-129F package. For the birth certificate, only the petitioner's is required at this time.

Yeah Birth certificates of both needed (Petitioner & Beneficiary)...

No, only the USC needs a copy of their birth certificate, naturalization or all pages of US passport to prove US citizenship. The foreign fiance(e)'s birth certificate is not needed until the K-1 interview.

For the OP> Read through the guide here and the I-129F instructions for the requirements. The I-134 and financials are not required until the K-1 interview. Same for any of the DS forms, which are DoS(Dept. of State) forms that are used for applying for a K-1 visa at a US consulate. http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide
