Hello :)

Did anyone get their vaccinations before the interview in Ciudad Juarez? Is it better to get the vaccinations in Ciudad Juarez during the medical? I noticed that the price for the vaccinations are pretty expensive so I was wondering if my husband (DCF-I-130) can get them beforehand.

All immunizations listed on the website are required. It is up to the doctor doing the physical to accept the vaccinations you already have had. In order for the doctor to consider your shots, you will need documentation from the clinic that gave the shots. The doctor will either accept them or reject them. The doctor will always lean towards giving them there, so you will need plenty of documentation as to where, when, and who gave which immunizations.

I've read that we don't need vaccinations for the K1, but it will be a good idea to take the ones you need before the medical exam and yes they are cheaper if you take them in the Centro de Salud....!!

I assume is a petition for a spouse, in that case they transcript your vaccine record and give you the ones you are missing, I saw that in the first desk of the clinic, when they give you your number you have to show (if is not the k1 visa) your cartilla de vacunacion, so i wanna think that he can have it done anywhere else, but they can also try you to get some vaccines there.... you dont loose anything if you have it done beforehand and you would just need less or any at all...

Good luck!!!

I love you Charles forever!!

I had this done in October 2012 even though I brought records for the H1N1, and the flu I had to retake them again. They will actually give you the ones that they deem necessary. My Cousin in March came with his wife who has lived in Mexico all her life and they let her get away with out them because she had a card from IMSS to show what he had. Another Cousin in June with her husband living here also didn't have this card and the gave him 4 shots it just depends on which one you got to and if they feel like taking the paper work. I was told that they are a Mexican Clinic and no paper work out of the United States is Official for them.
