So what is it with certain people on here referring to you and ####### sex? I missed that one.

spooky made a joke in an OT thread once and then it became an ongoing one.

Apparently someone here took it seriously and I am pretty passionate about it.

I don't know, this place is weird.

this requirement has to be so, considering the majority of rw sourced posts would have to be deleted.

really, chitlins are a southern thing not a black thing. hope that relieves some pressure.

Chitlins are a black thing. They are actually a remnant from slavery. The slave owners would eat the good part of the meat and give the yucky parts, like the intestines, to their slaves to eat so they wouldn't die.

Turning it into a delicacy or a "cuisine" is just a way of making lemonade out of lemons, as the saying goes. But yeah, the slaves were forced to eat the pig's poopy parts because otherwise they would starve to death.

So I guess I should say that chitlins are an african-american thing.

well i guess you should tell all the white folks around here that chitlins aren't their thing..

i'm not arguing the where chitlins came from or why they became popular, i'm just saying chitlins, collard greens - southern. pig's feet is another story.
