lol Aaron maybe you should calm down!

Look here:

https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/1074/~/esta-application-denied

Maybe the dude wants to know why he was denied? It doesn't cost anything to file a redress. So it's up to him if he wants to spend the time on it.

Did you read the first part of your link?

What should I do if I am not approved for travel through ESTA?

If an ESTA application is denied and you wish to continue with the trip, you will be required to apply for a nonimmigrant visa at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Please visit the Department of State Web site for further assistance on visa applications.

If you believe you were incorrectly denied ESTA authorization you may go to the DHS/TRIP Web site and file a redress request through the DHS Travel Redress Inquiry Program.

Look at life from a practical point of view. It's more prudent to just apply for a visitor visa. He can only get redress if he was "incorrectly denied."

THE US IS NOT GOING TO LOOK FOR A REASON IT WAS INCORRECTLY DENIED. HE HAS TO ARTICULATE A REASON WHY HE THINKS IT WAS INCORRECTLY DENIED. IN NO UNIVERSE DOES THE US FREELY ADMITS IT MADE A MISTAKE. (US Employee - this guy said we incorrectly denied ESTA, he didn't say why he thinks that, and wants us to investigate. I'll spend the next hour scrutinizing his case instead of doing my work.)

You are pointing these folks in the wrong direction. The right direction is to apply for a visitor visa and not fight the ESTA denial.

That took quite a lot of time! I applaud your efforts!

I'm hoping that in your quest for knowledge, you read my reasons for suggesting this option to the OP. During my husband's AOS, he spent 18 months waiting around for USCIS to figure out he wasn't somebody else with a criminal background. And the No Fly list just keeps getting longer and longer (don't know if you've read about that but - google is your friend).

USA TRIP is a valid option for anyone who has an ESTA denial.

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

It's also a waste of time if he cannot articulate why ESTA was incorrectly denied.
