I was under the impression that the shortest time anyone has ever waited for NOA2 was 4 months, but most people wait 5 to 6 months. We received our NOA1 on July 12, so I was stunned when we received our NOA2 on August 23rd. Only 6 WEEKS! Has anyone else received an NOA2 this fast?

Your time on a visa are the same as ours. We were transferred on August 6 in Texas. We, too, could be approved on August 23, but we were sent Request for Evidence

LOl, I am so glad so many of us are sharing this good fortune. When I got the text of an update to the case I was terrified something was wrong because it was WAY to soon. But says we are approved. 52 days from NOA1. Now scrambling to wrap up what is needed for interview. Thank goodness we had most of it done and ready. Just need the interview date now, :)

It's California. I hear they'e the fastest prcessing center. Appaerntly from what I understand, Vermont is the polar opposite, taking an average of 9 months to get around to approving applications.

It varies, when I went through Vermont, they were fast and everyone cursed California for being so slow. Just be thankful your NOA2 was so quick.

Congratulations!

This does happen from time to time. Sometimes a file just gets pulled at random for things like training, or you happen to land on someones desk. You're very lucky!

In the olden days there was a time when 2 weeks was considered the norm to go from NOA1 to NOA2, it's funny to see how things have changed!
