Just Received P3- Causing conflict with fiancee

Folks,

We just received our P3 yesterday, which basically requires the DS-230 part 1 to be filled out, along with some 2x2 passport photos being sent to the embassy. All that stuff has been correctly filled out and ready to be dropped off in the mail tomorrow.

Her and I are arguing a little bit about when to get the fee paid. Since I am the one paying the fee, and believe that it can be paid now, I am of the opinion to do so...

My fiancee wants to wait for P4 before paying the fee, doing medical, etc. Basically, wait for instructions from the embassy.

What should we be doing right now?

You can't schedule the interview without paying the fee. If you are using a Chinese debit card you can pay online just before you schedule

Lili even used a friends debit card and gave them the money the next day.

I believe you can only use a Chinese debit card or pay in cash at the bank. At least that's the way it was a couple of months ago.

Journey so far:

09/14/2012: Sent I-129F Packet

09/21/2012: NOA1 Received

04/22/2013: NOA2 Notice of approval
05/08/2013 NVC Received

06/01/2013 Packet 3 Received

06/04/2013 Packet 3 Sent

06/10/2013 Packet 4 email received

06/27/2013 First Scheduled interview-cancelled (didn't get notarized paperwork in time)

08/12/2013 K-1 interview passed!

08/28/2013 Lili Arrives in the U.S.!!!

10/04/2013 Marriage!!!

03/26/2014 AOS Approved!

04/02/2014 Received GC

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong, and think of what could go right!
