Well well look at all these new things. I'm up since around 6 am not sure why just couldnt' sleep very well last night. Have been on bed rest the last 2 days because I've been having contractions. Little Khalil is ready to come out but the drs. are trying to keep him in there a bit longer. Seems like I've been to the hospital everyday since the middle of last week and it's getting a big tiresome. I'm ready to give up the contraction stopping meds they have given to me as I'm now entering the 36th week and feel horrible. My stomach hurts and it seems silly to me that if he's ready to come now, to keep putting in all this medicine. Oh well I guess I will have to talk to my dr. at the appointment this afternoon. Youssef got his "Welcome to America" letter yesterday - and has been busily applying for jobs. He wants to go back to Morocco in March so he's decided he better start saving now. Well that's all from here. Have a great Wednesday everyone!

g'morning all... i haven't had a chance to check out new features - and it still has to wait til later. just a quick note- I had an emergency last nite w/ my best friend and i'm functioning on 2hrs of sleep and lots of crud last nite. My best friend called at abt 8pm from the EMS ambulance. Her uncle (who is like her father & she is his caretaker and power of attorney) had a heart attack in her home. He was 70 yrs old and not in good health. Her husband is out of town and she had no one else w/ her. I went to meet her at the hospital and stayed thru everything w/ her. He did not make it thru the heart cath and passed at abt 1:30am. I then went to her house w/ her after we did everything we needed to at the hospital and stayed up talking most of the nite. We finally fell asleep around 4:15 am and woke up at 6:45 for work. I wish I could be w/ her today also, but I just can't. I'll go care for her dogs tonite while she picks up the other uncle from the airport and they drive to her sister's house to tell the sister. Sister was in the hospital still from having a baby on Monday and she's going home today. We didn't want to call her last nite - she just didn't need the stress and there was nothing she could do anyway....

It's gonna be a long day..... :help:

Good morning everyone. Had a very long morning. Woke up this morning at about 7:20 to my husbands work calling to tell him that he had to deliver a catering order at 9am. He was still in bed when he answered, had to take me to work, and the place is a good 40min away from his work because of traffic. So his morning grogginess got the best of him and he took the frustration out on me and then called his work back and said he wasn't going to take it. His boss just told him to stay home. So, does that mean he's fired? I'm a little confuzzled on that part. But the good news is that after we got ready he decided that he was going to use this day to find a new job. So now he is all dressed up, has his breifcase, resume, and is going job hunting. Yay! To be honest I am glad he is doing that now. I don't think I could have dealt with his moodiness from his current job for another few months. So That's the good news!

I'm at work again. I'm working all day today. I'm supposed to pay my tuition for next semester, but I am not going to be able to do that since they got my amount wrong, I need to drop a course, and I can only pay until 10pm which is the time I get off work tonight. But Adil and I discussed it last night and we realized that it's probably for the best at this point since we have to save to go to Morocco. I'm a little sad about it, but I'll get over it. I'll start in the summer instead.

I really like this new style. It took me so long to learn the other way, hopefully I will be able to figure out this new one.

Have a good day everyone!

Adil & Janine

Noura, sorry to hear about your friend. I'm sure she was really glad you were there for her at this tough time. Could you imagine if she had to deal with it alone?

I like the new features. I didn't know they were going to re-vamp the site! It looks good.

Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday. I have various work issues that are dragging my spirits down, but otherwise, things are good. Man, I wish I had tons of money and could quit my job! Then I look at Amed, and see how hard he works, and I feel bad for even complaining about my job.

Oh well. We're almost fully into our new condo, which is good. Except my dog is not liking it! She's peeing on the floor out of spite while we're at work. I go home every day during lunch and give her a nice long walk, but she still has accidents daily. And I know it's intentional because I've come back in 2 minutes after leaving because I've forgotten something, and she's already piddled on the floor. Anyone have any suggestions on how to break her of this?
