Hello:

I started gathering my documents to file for my naturalization, if you could please give me some help regarding the tax returns. I have the ability to access my tax returns through hrblock, I wanted to know if I have to print all the returns with e signature and settlement documents or without them?

Thank you.

As a proof of bonafide marriage (bank statements, utility bills, insurance card and bills) How many months did you cover and what kind of bills did you send.

I'm afraid that I will be sending to much stuff as I'm almost thinking as many documents as I did send for ROC and I don't want to get the officer mad because I sent to much.

Thanks for the help.

I didn't send bank statements and bills with the N-400 form. I simply followed this checklist. http://www.uscis.gov/files/article/attachments.pdf

I included tax return transcripts from IRS, not merely tax returns. You may get the tax return transcripts online. http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Order-a-Transcript

DID they ask you for bank statements or bills to prove that your marriage is genuine? I'm applying based on the 3 year rule. I checked the instructions for the N400 and it states: "Documents referring to you and your spouse:

- Tax returns, bank statements, leases, mortgages, or birth certificates of children;"

So I was thinking to send and please let me know if I'm overdoing it:

*N400

*Selective service

*check for $680

*photocopy of both sides of my green card

*2 pictures

*Birth certificates of my wife and both my daughter and step daughter

*tax returns (12, 11, 10) + W2s

*lease

*Bank statement+ phone bill (only 1 month each)

Thank you so much again.

I second what Calypso said. We only included 3 years of tax return transcripts along with our application (well, my husband's), copy of my birth certificate (I am the USC), copy of our marriage certificate, the check for $680, photocopy of my husband's green card (back and front), 2 passport photos & the N400 form.

We did prepare a binder of documents for the interview with bank statements, car insurance cards, life insurance beneficiary forms etc. that my husband took with him. He was not asked to show a single document at the interview except his green card, passport and driver's license.
