No. But you can look for work with letting a potential employer know you are waiting for authorization. I believe this is correct.

You can look for one and get job offers, you just cannot officially accept a job without having your SSN and EAD first. It is possible to put in an expedite request for your EAD if you get a firm job offer though. You would need to explain the situation to your potential employer and hope they would wait for you to get the EAD.

Google I-9. This is a form anyone employed in the US must fill out at the time of beginning employment. It shows the requirements for a person to be legally employed. You might have the social security number but you won't have the work authorization. There is no way a legitimate employer would hire you.

You are not authorized to work in the US until you get either the EAD card or a green card. After all, the EAD is called the Employment Authorization Document for a reason.

Your case online and the I-94 are useless for work. Neither authorizes you to work in the US.

The US employer has to complete the I-9 form before you can be hired. Without an EAD card or a green card, you will not meet the criteria. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.

No you can not....this is the consequence of having chosen the K-1 fiancé visa path as opposed to the CR-1 spouse path. You made your choice to sit around for at least 3 months, unable to work, unable to leave the US, when you chose K-1.
