This thread was in "Moving here and your new Life" and someone moved it here, without putting a moved note. Very odd.

And the US doesn't have other chocolate eggs with toys inside. But Kinder eggs are unbanned, and very similar to the others (not totally different for the person who said it was but hasn't ever seen one...)

Yes, I saw this in the original thread posted, which is why I was surprised that guns were being discussed.

Also, here is a link to the eggs I was talking about that ARE available in the USA with toys inside. Not the same as Kinder, but similar. This was brought up in the Canada forum a while ago. I was wrong about the name, it is called Choco-Treasure.

It would be cool if the eggs came with a toy gun inside. That way when a kid choked on it they could claim it was gun related.

Eh - there's a 'Hello Kitty' choco-egg with such a gun inside ..

but - the outer wrapper is all pink

and the gun is pink also.

It's also not sold in the USA, so yer back to the 'same problem'.

And most of the people here think the US gun laws are too liberal? Maybe the problem is archaic chocolate egg laws.

You are not in an immigrationforum per say

you are in a political / social sub forum in which the more radical and off topic usually the better

Ok,

Of all the things I could possibly be concerned about in a political/social forum, this ranks somewhere between street sweeper rights in Estonia and the councilman's race at the isle of St Helena.

Is that better?

TBH, the toys are not nearly as cool as they used to be. I never did like the chocolate and left it, rather like you may leave a fortune cookie after cracking open for said "fortune."

The whole topic makes me think of this:

Oh and the hand gun residing beside my bed ATM. And the rifle in my closet.

I thought a foreign lass couldn't apply for CABA membership till hitting the POE ? Is this a big enough deal to ask for a ruling from Amby ?

Amby is not involved in the CABA leadership, by her own choice. Furthermore, one can be CABA before POE. My Big Big Book of CABA (pages smeared with potato chip grease) says so.

OK, Maven (The). Thanks for the clarification. I am so sorry, no one invite me to the Leadership Conference, so I not catch the update.
