does any one know if i can pay nvc fees online or do i have to wait until nvc sends me a letter?

It depends on what fees your are referring to, actually there are two different fees that you need to pay. AOS fees ($88) and IV fees ($230). Try to call NVC to ask if they received your I-130 from USCIS, once they entered the beneficiary's information in their system, you will be given the case number and also don't forget to ask for invoice number if there is one ready for beneficiary. You need those two numbers to pay your AOS and IV fees. Once you are given the case number and invoice number, log in to NVC payment portal to check if AOS fee is ready to be paid, if it's there, try to log in the next day and so on until AOS bill fee is available. Also, give your email address and the beneficiary email address to the NVC operator for future communication. During this time, you can submit the beneficiary DS3032 ( Choice of agent) to nvcinquiry@state.gov via email, just search the DS3032 template on the search box in this forum. Use the beneficiary email address or you can create one for the beneficiary so that you have access to it whenever is needed. Once the beneficiary DS3032 accepted by the NVC ( takes about 2 weeks for acceptance), your IV fee will be generated ( again, might take few days to generate after the acceptance) and ready to be paid. For each successful payment, don't forget to print the cover sheet for each and include each cover sheet to each application.

To answer your question, you don't have to wait for NVC to send you a letter. You can pay your fees online as long as they become available to be paid.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

Hi everyone. I'm new here. I actually stumbled across this forum while searching to know how long a spouse visa would take.

I really need advice. I'm just about to immigrate to the US from Nigeria through the visa lottery. My boyfriend(of 5 years) and I are supposed to get married in December 2014, but considering the wait times I've seeing, I'm considering having a court ceremony and then use that to start the process.

I'm also a bit worried about Affidavit of support as I need to write the USMLEs before I can continue in my career as a doctor, or will any job at all suffice?

Is there an easy way out. I'm a bit sad and confused. The time it takes seems too long. Help anyone! :'(
