adjudication accuracy

Can anyone attest to the accuracy of VJ's estimate for adjudication of applications? Are they fairly representative of when we can reasonably expect to receive an NOA2? I'm referring to the estimate located at the bottom of our individual timeline.

they are only as accurate as the information people provide. They are just guides and timelines can vary greatly depending upon varying circumstances

My estimated adjudication date was August 11- August 18, and I was approved on July 17th, so it was good that I was approved early!

even with a transfer from VSC to TSC and a RFE (for another letter of Intent), VJ was very accurate.

The NOA2 is not the end. It is not the beginning of the end. It may be the end of the beginning. when you get the NOA2, you know what happens? Nothing. It goes to NVC for their review. Two topics above you in the Ukraine Portal (click on "Portals" at the top of the page) is a guy stick in AP at NVC. You can also have AP before and/or after the interview for the visa at the consulate.

Bottom line...a 30 day weather forecast is about as accurate as an NOA2 prediction and then you have no idea how long NVC or the consulate will take, how long it will take to get an interview (changes all the time) and how long it can take after the interview to get the visa.

Look at it this way...on a trip driving from New York to Los Angeles, how long it takes you to get to Cleveland is not really very important.

We have been waiting 1 year and 1 month. The VSC are snails. They put out false reports so they look good and give hope to newbies. Their boss does not care. Many futures spouses bite the dust due to the snails in VSC
