I-485, Military experience. Do I need to attach something for this?

Hello.

I'm applying I-485 AOS concurrent with I-130.

In number 15a it says,

""Served in, been a member of, assisted in, or participated in any military unit, paramilitary unit, police unit, self-defense unit, vigilante unit, rebel group, guerrilla group, militia, or insurgent organization?"

In number 18,

""Have you EVER received any type of military, paramilitary, or weapons training?"

My country required mandatory 2years of military service for all male. I would go ahead put YES for these questions.

My question is that should I attach something for this matter?

I googled, and people say I should explain what i've trained, and stuff. Is there any format?

Yes, as it tells you to do, attach a separate sheet of explanation. There is no "format;" it's a simple letter. Anything stolen from the internet will be plainly obvious and NOT credible.

I can't believe people don't know how to write a simple letter any more... So many as for "templates" for intent to marry letters. Sad.

Just tell them what you did in the army.
