".. 1 time meet MAY cause CO to ask for more stuff as proof you and she are real love"

Sorry won't answer yes to that,

What are the main reasons a K-1 visa is denied? (copy/past typos are not mine for the picky-wits)

K-1 applications are subject to the same review standards as immigrant visa applications. The main reasons for visa refusal are: lacking documentation; need to review or verify evidence of the relationship; lack of a petitionable relationship; misrepresentation of the facts; medical concerns; criminal grounds and potential public charge.

Again.. You are arguing semantics and at this point - handing me the W.

The underlined part of your quote is the basis of my argument. idea9dv.gif Thanks for making it easy for me. good.gif

( & I never stated 1 time meeting would cause a denial. Please don't twist my words or put words in my mouth)

I would agree with the "zero issue" sentiment. Although I did attend my then fiancees interview, they did not ask for ANY proof of an ongoing relationship (only one prior in person meeting). Of course we had a lot with us and everyone should, but one meeting in itself is not an issue and doesn't mean more scrutiny.

Underlined is game changer.

OP only met in person 1 time = No multiple visit evidence to support ongoing relationship = better have something to prove ongoing relationship. You showed up for the interview = Evidence of ongoing relationship.

I'm me...you are you...Hank is Hank & although we are all married to a Pinay...doesn't mean our marriages will all process the same....same goes for the VJ.

One visit is no problem, as long as she remembers everything you both have already shared with the USCIS and DOS. My wife was asked two questions, "How many brothers and sisters does your fiance have, and where do they live now?" and "What is the color of your fiance's truck?"

That's my point. AS LONG AS.....

I am so glad I was not given advice by half azzers when we went through the process.

I wonder what RFE stats for PI VJs look like since...I'm guessing an increase.

I am not arguing with you... but you seem to be trying to argue with me. I keep stating my opinion, then tossed in something crazy... facts.

You asked my opinion, I gave you my opinion, you didn't like or agree with my opinion so your worded your next post(s) differently trying to sway my opinion to match your opinion.... not happening.

Opinion still is - meeting only once in person will not causes issues at the interview.

It's my opinion... get over it.

1) You followed & copy/pasted my op with a contradictory post = you initiated argument.

2) I never asked your opinion - you challenged mine = you twist reality.

3) I rephrased the exact same message in an attempt to match your reading comprehension ability = Obviously single syllable words are still confusing you.

4) Rephrased to educate not sway coz = You are very stubborn.

5) Your opinion (on this) is wrong = it teaches a reckless approach.

6) Get over it = Typical defense response when cornered.

1+2+3+4+5+6 = Crashed gets the W star_smile.gif & Hank gets the L. laughing.gif

You are very lonely today apparently.... laughing.gif

Your OPINION is that my opinion is wrong regarding only having met once as to whether it will cause concern at the visa interview.... but its just YOUR opinion... take that and $5.00 over to Starbucks and you can get a cheap cup of coffee.

Facts and the majority of K-1'ers passing through USEM here on VJ points toward only meeting once is a non-issue at the interview.

Then there is my opinion - it's not an issue. good.gifsmile.png

.... I guess I could pull my sign down... caught my limit.....

Not lonely ..I have you to keep me company...

I never said meeting 1 time - is an "issue" or a "non-Issue" I said it "could" draw extra scrutiny & that is 100% correct and you know it.

Now to the sign - are you telling me that this whole spar was nothing more than - bait? Which would explain the silly semantic debate...Well.. if that's the case = You got me. Kudos.

Hey just doing my part to help in a long lonely day for some. smile.png

I have been around long enough to know that I won't take most of what you rant about serious, so letting out extra line just adds to the fun wink.png

But as for the OP question.....

NOPE only meeting once will NOT cause an issue at the interview - That is my opinion and I am sticking to it!

I don't understand why someone feels the need to get a "W" and give an "L" to another in an internet quasi-argument. Seems a bit childish to me.

You and I haven't met so let me explain a little about... me = I form opinions about people pretty quick = I think you are somewhat obtuse and a tad bit pretentious.

Perhaps if you would flatulate ... you would be more comfortable & as a result less uptight & perhaps not apt to "butt" in when no1s asked you for input.

So how 'bout you run along and try to insult some children or something.
