They can tell you are a foreigner by the document you show to the security agent as ID with your boarding pass. They are usually standing right next to them at these airports.

I guess this is why I never had any issues. I always use my Drivers License when I travel inside the USA, which has no indication on it that I'm not a US Citizen.

rebeccajo,

I used to use my passport as my ID for domestic flights. It was fun - they'd ask for my DL and I'd tell them they didn't want to see my DL. They'd say 'yes, I do', and I'd tell them 'no, you don't'.

Before they lost their temper I'd pull out my DL, which didn't have a picture on it, and hand it to them.

Then they'd ask for my passport.

Would they even LOOK at his passport on a domestic flight?

I am thinking instead of my passport ( for them not to look on my expired 1-94) I will just show them my INTERNATIONAL drivers license, is that sounds better? Thanks anyway for the clarification...

An International DL is not a Government Issued Document so no this will not do...

The only foreign ID that is acceptable is a Passport.
