If your logic is true, where is the outrage when some white guy guns down a school full of children, or a movie theatre, or a marathon? No one from the white community is saying sorry for that. Heck, a white dude just walked into a school with an AK and was thankfully talked down from killing children. What's the deal with that?

Ok for the record I was outraged by the mass shooting you mentioned.

the fact is, that because of the facts the other poster mentioned, young black males are responsible for almost 50% of murders, yet account for only 3% of the population. They are so vastly over represented in the murder and violent crime column that we have to be honest and start talking about A.Why and B. how do we fix it.

Do I think all black people are responsible. Of course not that is silly. I am able to know the difference between people like you and that demographic..However you often times do speak as a black man, as a collective voice for all.

You spoke in another thread about the travesty of making GZ a celebrity..Agreed. However it is an equal travesty to make Tm a celebrity. A young black male who embraced every aspect that is bad in the young black male culture and got killed . Yeah, young black america has a new hero who was a violent,drug using, criminal, who got kicked out of school. Yes TM what a role model for young black men. 1)Education about racism. Schools need to do a better job teaching kids the true meaning of racism. It's not just a Guilt trip laid on during History class.

White people do love them some raps. But this is likely not entirely true. White people round my parts all like country and classic rock but some of them like rap. However, I've never met a black guy that didn't like rap. GRANTED there are many different types of rap with many types of messages. Marvin. Apologies for presenting a narrow POV but I already got scolded by G&D for a "whole lot of writing" & it seems most posters are not as verbose as I. I'm trying to stab one point = Yes...I'm guilty of currently presenting a bigoted POV....but trust me when I say...I know snoop & lil wayne etc....don't rep the whole community...but...IMO - it's up to the leadership to stand up & call it like it is = the wrong kind of message to be putting out for young minds & the sheet should be stopped.

& it ain't just the White kids funding it...we both know that.
