I haven't even tried to play a video game in about 30 years, they're too damn complicated. I started with Pong as a young kid, graduated to Asteroids and remember Space Invaders as one of the last games I ever played.

All I've played of modern games are the Call of Duty games. I'm not very familiar with other games but I'm sure CoD is pretty tame when it comes to how graphic the violence is, but there is a lot of killing. To me, the enjoyment of the game was the progression and the action; making the violence more graphic does not make the game more enjoyable for me.

I don't believe playing violent games makes a person more violent; but I wonder if the extreme graphics can make a person more desensitized to what occurs in real life.

I played that one for a while with my nephew. At my best I had a 1 to 1 kill/death ratio which is actually pretty good. Then I prestiged and lost interest.

I loved Oregon Trail as a kid in elementary school.

No that was a violent game. Timmy has died from typhoid. F**K!

I have no idea what that means. I just try not to get dead.

I don't get the fascination with these games, I'd rather be doing something constructive. Just me.

What could be more realistic than actually watching someone hit another human over the head with a hammer? The graphics in the 3 Stooges wrene't graphics at all. Granted they really didn't hit each other, but you really can't get more real than that.

I means I killed someone for every time I died. It took forever for me to get to that.

The prestige is when you reach the highest level and then you have to start all over. But everyone knows you've done it so you're cooler.
