I used to play GTA (and will again when the new one comes out!) and I'd steal police vehicles, go on shooting rampages, beat prostitutes to death for money, break into airports, cause many fiery explosions in residential neighborhoods, and regularly knife people on the streets.

Worst I do IRL is go 10 miles over the speed limit sometimes.

I blame it on computer games. So many people have lost touch with reality.

I'm not sure I would blame it on computer games; but these kids have definitely lost touch with reality. I can't really imagine killing somebody but what they did seems to be the most inhumane. They picked an older defenseless person at random; didn't shoot him from a distance but instead beat him to death - for no reason.

You know, that's what it is. You hear stories like this and you think the world has gone to #######. But is it representative of the whole? No one I know would be capable of doing this to an old man. I guess I need to remember that these stories do not represent the whole of America or its youth. Some where now, there's a teenager volunteering time at an old folks home or spending time with their grand parents.

Same here about my Grandad, he was a WW2 vet in the Navy and was in the pacific.
