There's alway something to be impatient for in this process!

If any CSC approvals from last week find success at getting case numbers out of NVC via e-mail or phone, please let me know. Basically, I'm just trying to triangulate when that batch actually leaves CSC and arrives @ NVC, so I can ring a case # out of 'em. Like all of you, I'm anxious to get one, so I can immediately get started on packet 3.

09/15/06 - Check cashed.

09/16/06 - Return receipt from USPS received.

09/17/06 - Touched.

11/30/06 - Touched! (Could this be it?)

11/30/06 - Electronic NOA2 received.

12/06/06 - Courtesy hardcopy of NOA2 received. (Original sent to lawyer.)

12/11/06 - NVC gave me DOS case # by phone and confirmed BKK mailing.

12/25/06 - Submitted Packet 3 to BKK Embassy (using copies of forms).

01/06/07 - Pim received Packet 3 harcopy.

Looking at similar Thai/CSC timelines looks like you should be at NVC any day now. I reported my NOA1 on 11/1, although it was really 10/26 (mistake on my part), so based on the last 3 or 4 similar timelines I should be hearing something any day (NOA2) I hope. Like another post you wrote, I worry if maybe I didn't send enough proof of meeting. I sent 10 photos, complete copy of passport, and a letter about how we met. I hope it's enough compared with what other people are sending. If not, I do have lots of receipts, plane tickets, etc.

05/16/2007 Interview. Embassy requests passport amended. Luckily the turnaround time is two days in Bangkok.

05/21/2007 Pu returns to Embassy with new passport, visa granted. Visa issued the following day.

05/26/2007 Pu arrives in USA!

05/30/2007 Married!

06/26/2007 Overnighted AOS petition to Chicago Lockbox

06/27/2007 AOS petition delivered to Chicago lockbox, signed for by V Bustamante

Hey Pulteseller. The OP is actually talking about after NOA2 when your file is forwarded to NVC. Good luck on your NOA2.

I was going to wait until Monday to call NVC. But I'm getting a little bored here so maybe I will try calling today. :lol:

I'm just one day behind you. NOA2 showed up in the mail yesterday. Got through to NVC late last night. App still not in their system. She said try back next week. At least they're very nice at NVC. All I need is the case #.

I wouldn't sweat about not having enough evidence. As I said earlier, I only sent 3 photos and copies of passport stamps and I sailed through. I have many more photos of us together now because I just returned from Thailand a few weeks ago, but at the time of the app I had very few. (Actually two of the photos I submitted were separate individual photos of us with the same background. They were taken at the same time and place, but there was no one handy to take a picture of us together. At the time, I wasn't in an evidence gathering frame of mind.)

My NOA2 was right around yours and I got the letter in the mail :;):

It's so nice to have it in hand. It says that it was sent to the NVC (not to the embassy - not that it should but other pple get that).

Well, I sent an email to NVC and they responded today that it had not arrived yet, as someone else had said. So I guess give it some time. The NOA2 letter says that they need 2-4 weeks AFTER they get it...

oh man, waiting again...

19 Apr 07: ARRIVED JFK POE and got the temp EAD stamp!!!!

27 Apr 07: Got Married

14 May 07: Received SSN

04 June 07: GOT A JOB!!

16 June 07: Wedding Reception in San Francisco

13 August 07: Got new EAD

23 November 07: Adjustment of Status approved

25 December 07: First white Christmas EVER!!!!

27 Apr 08: First Wedding Anniversary

4 July 08: Mt Rushmore for 4th July

E-mail response says nothing in their sys as of Fri. Hopefully with the recent wave of approvals the box is getting full and CSC will soon send it off to NH. Fingers crossed.

Thats great :thumbs::dance: Mine was approved on the same day. I called today, and they haven't received it yet.

Hopefully they'll get it by the end of the week.
