Getting Sputum results Aug 27th, what next???

Its been 8 weeks since the sputum test and going to SLMC for the results this coming Tues. If the test is negative, when can we finish the medical? We are hoping for the same or next day? Anyone have any experience with this?

I got my sputum culture result August 22...Went to Manila last August 20, streets are all flooded and not passable..

Anyway, my result is negative, thank goodness!

My original medical was on May 28, then i went back June for the 3 days sputum smear

Yes, after your 2 month wait for the culture you have to finish the medical (shot, etc.). How long after they gave you your culture test results (Aug 22nd) did you finish your medical?

Marilyn is going Tues for her results and would like to know how long she might be waiting in Manila to finish her medical???

My 2 month sputum culture was due last August 13, Tuesday, i called them and told me that i can go there on Thursday August 15..but i went last Aug. 20.

Yes, i finished my medical and was given 3 shots..I had to pay extra for the repeat Pregnancy test to make sure i am not pregnant before they gave the vaccines, so Marilyn will have to..

She can be there around 7..no need to be the first in line, and she will be finished in the afternoon...

The only thing that might delay completing the medical is that if Marilyn had sexual contact on her unsafe days because St. Luke's will tell her to go back on specified date

when you call SLEC on your due date, will they tell you exactly on phone if you are negative or positive? i mean will they give you an specific answer for the result of the exam? mine will be due on Sept. 11 but they told me to call on the 16th.

They didn't tell her it was negative, they just told her to go to SLEC.

goodness!! that means you won't be able to sleep the whole night wondering what the result could be.. and another 3hrs more of heart pumping thrill and suspense for me on my way to SLEC since i don't even know if the result is a joy jumping negative result or a positive pain in the ***..

No results will be given over the phone. On the day you call they will instruct you to come back to SLMC to get you results in person...

Our results were ready on the 8 week mark exactly. We now have to go in for the results, good luck.
