#1. Should we include a copy of my (beneficiary) passport bio page? Some say yes (RFEs) , some say no.. would it hurt if we do?

#2. I still haven't legally changed my name (will soon). All the forms are in my married name. And in "all other names used" I put my maiden (still current) name. Just want to make sure that's correct?

#3. As an evidence, we are gonna include copies of his passport stamps. Should we copy ALL PAGES of his passport , or just the ones with stamps+bio page?

We are also gonna include a copy of his BC (proof of citizenship).

Ughhhh.... I've been having I-130 related nightmares! biggrin.png

Thanks! smile.png

Answers:

  1. No to the copy of your passport bio page (additionally, do include a copy of your birth certificate)
  2. Shouldn't be an issue
  3. Since you are going to include a copy of his birth certificate, you only need the pages with the stamps.

See comments in red above.

Looks very well put together! You've included more than enough evidence to get a one-shot straight approval (Note: we only had 80pages total).

Last thing, we included Beneficiary's birth certificate and passport biographic page, even though some have said it is NOT required at this stage. As you can see some members have gotten RFE'd for this lately so IMHO, it won't hurt to add.

Good Luck!!!

Wow great package! I'm sure everything will be fine. :) Just stay positive. We'll be sending ours in at the end of this week hopefully.

Just out of curiosity, how did you get a copy of your email and skype history? Did you just take screenshots of all of the dates you sent and received messages/calls? I'm trying to figure out how to best do this and at this point have just taken screenshots of our email history showing all income and outgoing messages, along with screenshots of the program SkypeLogView detailing income and outgoing calls. Please let me know if you can. I'm really curious. :)

Dziekuje!

I just took screenshots of everything smile.png

For email- we use Gmail, so I typed in my husband's name in the search box and got all the emails we sent to each other. It was almost 500 (50 on each page or sth) so I took a screenshot of each page. On the last one it showed the total count.

For Facebook- That was a pain cause we've sent each other about 35,000 messages and going way back to the beginning was pretty much impossible (browsers kept crushing on me haha). Luckily, I saved all the FB message notification emails. Then I knew what to type in the Facebook messages search box. It was also showing a date it was sent which was great. I was able to scroll up or down then to find something appropriate biggrin.png Then I took a screenshot . I included two from each month.

Also included a screenshot of the total message count.

For Skype- I used SkypeLogView for calls, and SkyHistory for chats. Again, screenshots. (I emailed Skype to get a full call log but they can only provide Skype-to-phone logs. Not Skype to Skype. So stupid)

For Whatsapp- (mobile app) Screenshots! then emailed images to myself and copied and pasted into a word document. Also found an app showing a total message count, so downloaded that and took a screenshot. (I am starting to hate this word! biggrin.png )

Great example of a cover letter. I will definitely follow your example but for my I-129f I'm submitting nothing regarding a wedding or even engagement ring receipts. I hope this isn't a problem. I also was thinking of submitting Google chat & been having trouble indexing them. Didn't think I could use screen shots. Good advice, thanks.

I don't know what evidence K-1 requires. But I'm sure K-1 filers will help you with that smile.png

I've spent quite a lot of time researching prior to putting this petition together. I've read people were taking screenshots of their chats (a few from each month) .. And so I did as well. It just seems like the best, if not only, way to do it. Well, other than submitting a total record of , as in my case, circa 50ooo messages wink.png

Not sure if you are using Skype, but if so, it's quite difficult to pull up a call log... I used this. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/skype_log_view.html

I'm hearing I-129fs are being approved super fast lately smile.png Good luck!!

When two people are meant for each other, no time is too long, no distance is too far, no one can ever tear them apart.
